A free state certification workshop will be held Tuesday, May 8th, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Metro South Chamber of Commerce, 60 School Street, Brockton. Sponsored by the State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance (SOMWBA), this workshop will present the requirements for state and federal transportation certification for minority or woman owned businesses.
The state purchases millions of dollars worth of products and services from SOMWBA-certified businesses. If your business has a product or service that the state buys, you could profit from certification.
