Oct. 11 – Metro South/JFK/Beijing
Board buses to JFK Airport in New York. Check in and board afternoon flight to Beijing by 3:30 p.m. (CA982). Your adventure begins as you fly trans-Pacific aboard a wide cabin jetliner. Cross the International Dateline.

Oct. 12 – Beijing

Arrive early evening in Beijing, the Capital of China. Your local tour guide will meet you at the airport. Arrive at the hotel after dinner.  

Oct. 13 - Beijing
Visit the Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world, and the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 A.D., where the emperors prayed to the heaven for a good harvest.  Sightseeing also includes the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, home of 24 emperors with a total space of 9,999 rooms. You’ll also see the Summer Palace, known for the Long Corridor with its painted gallery, Kunming Lake, Longevity Hill, Seventeen-Arch Bridge and Marble Boat.

Oct. 14 - Beijing
Enjoy a tour bus excursion to the Great Wall, the 4,000-mile long and 2,000 year old construction said to be the only man-made structure visible by the naked eye from the moon. Visit the Ming Tombs, including one of 13 Mong emperors’ tombs fully excavated and open for exploration. A Roasted Beijing Duck Dinner will highlight the evening.

Oct. 15 – Beijing/Shanghai/Suzhou

Take a morning flight to Shanghai, then board a tour bus to Suzhou. Afternoon sightseeing includes the centuries-old Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill and Hanshan Temple. Visit to the National Embroidery Institute to see silk embroidery, an important local craft with a 1,000-year history. Enjoy an evening dinner show featuring traditional Chinese music.

Oct. 16 – Suzhou/Hangzhou

Board a tour bus for a journey to Hangzou to visit an economic development zone. Tour the centuries old Lingyin Temple, featuring the 64-foot-high camphor-wood carved Buddha.

Oct. 17 – Hangzhou/Shanghai

Enjoy a morning boat cruise on West Lake with relaxing stopovers at jewel-like pagodas and tea houses. In the afternoon, see the city on a tour bus trip of Shanghai.

Oct. 18 - Shanghai
Spend the day sightseeing the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, rocky works and overarching trees. Visit the Bund, a famous waterfront park along the Yangtze River and home to the “Wall Street of the East,” and Pudong economic development zone.

Oct. 19 – Shanghai/Beijing/JFK/Metro South

Take a morning flight to Beijing then an afternoon flight (CA980) to JFK, where you will arrive at 1:30 p.m. on the same day. Travel from JFK to the Metro South via bus. For additional information, please call (508) 586.0500.

OPTIONAL SIDE TRIP TO XI’AN, TRIP 2010

We design this optional trip to Xi’an mainly for those who travel to China for the second time, as they have already visited Suzhou and Hangzhou during their first visit to China.

Day 1-Day 4, The same itinerary like everybody else.

Day 5, Morning flight to Xi’an, stay at Grand Castle Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing to the Big Wild Geese Pagoda. Evening entertainment of Tang Style Dancing.

Day 6, Morning bus excurses to the Terra-Cotta Warriors at the Tomb of the First Emperor of Qin Dynasty. On the way back, visit the Huaqing Hot Spring Park and Banpo Museum, a preserved pre-historical cavemen site.

Day 7-Day 9, Flight to Shanghai, then the same itinerary like everybody else.

Additional Price: The additional cost is USD450/per person, on the basis tour fare of per person to the regular itinerary. The single room supplement is the same as the regular trip.
