Getting involved is easy - simply indicate your 1st and 2nd preferences on the form below. A description of each committee follows:
Ambassador Team - Ensures that the Chamber is responsive to the needs of its members through personal contact and networking. Team members act as representatives of the Chamber at functions and invite prospective members to join the Chamber.
A Taste of Metro South Planning Committee - Organizes this community event to increase the awareness and appreciation of living and working in the region. Area restaurants offer "tastes" of their house specialties. In addition, area social service organizations set up exhibits, and cultural organizations provide displays and performances.
Good Morning Metro South Planning Committee - Organizes the breakfast program by developing ideas for topics and features segments.
Government & Legislative Committee - Reviews pending legislation and regulations for their impact on business and develops positions that will enhance economic growth. Sponsors programs that educate and encourage members to participate in the Chamber's government affairs initiatives.
Human Resource Management Council - Sponsors meetings aimed at improving human resource management skills and keeping abreast of the latest techniques in this changing field.
Tourism and Marketing Committee - Facilitate discussions on promoting and marketing the Metro South region to attract businesses and potential visitors and to develop and expand existing business resources.
