Town of East Bridgewater
Incorporated in 1823, East Bridgewater started as an agricultural community. During the 20th century, residential development along railroad lines stimulated industrial growth and the town became the site of shoe manufacturing and textile mils.
Today, the 17.25 square-mile town offers a highly respected school system, a wealth of public services, and abundant recreational opportunities including hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and boating.
