Patient Accounts Representative – Full Time:
Verifies insurance eligibility and assures accuracy and completeness of the insurance information. Reviews authorization information and eligibility for each visit prior to submission, if applicable. Responsible for generation, review and submission of bills. Answers questions concerning patient accounts, as necessary. Responds to requests for patient information from internal departments and/or third party payers (Medicare, Medicaid & private insurance companies). Prepares and follows through on appeals, when necessary. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Two to three years billing experience; Home health care experience preferred. Familiarity with Windows 95, Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic mail. Demonstrated working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations as it relates to billing. Experience with automated and electronic billing systems and procedures. Working knowledge of accounts receivable/collection procedures. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. Fine motor skills and close hand/eye coordination needed to operate computer, generate bills and to accomplish other responsibilities of position.

Educational Resources Manager – Full time – Reports to VP of Clinical Operations
Provides and/or coordinates orientation, competencies, and an ongoing calendar of inservice education programs for Agency staff to promote quality patient care. Demonstrates skill in influencing staff to perform to maximum potential through communication, education and performance management. Instructs clinical staff in the use of the point of care devise (Allscripts tablet). Collaborates to conduct the UR process on the EMR. Analyzes and aggregates outcome data; formulates QI committee(s) to achieve quality improvement in patient care and/or clinical services. Serves as a resource to mangers and staff on compliance, COP’s and other home health regulations and/or standards. Requires Massachusetts Registered Nurse License; Master of Science Degree in Nursing, Education or related field or equivalent preferred; at least two years experience as an Educator in a health care setting plus three years as a Community Health R.N. Understands and possesses the ability to interpret the Medicare Conditions of Participation, including standards for OASIS and PPS. Experience with clinical information systems in order to provide instruction to clinical staff on Allscripts software and the use of tablet PCs. Familiarity with and knowledge of Windows, Word, electronic mail, etc. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Accessible and approachable. Must possess gross motor skills to lift and carry files, equipment, climb stairs, etc. Fine motor skills and close hand/eye coordination needed to operate computer equipment and to perform record keeping and other documentation.

WEEKEND NURSING SUPERVISOR (2)
Experienced nurse to influence and direct staff to perform to their maximum potential through communication, education and performance management, who clearly defines assignments, and who fosters and maintains an environment of open communication and mutual respect.
- 1 weekend (Saturday & Sunday) in a 6 week rotation
- 3 holidays per year
- Includes working from approximately 3 to 8 p.m. the evening prior to your assigned weekend or holiday to prepare employee assignments
- Extended Hours Supervisor is responsible for on-call beeper coverage from 4:30 p.m. the evening prior through 8 a.m. on the day following your assigned weekend or holiday
Requirements: Current MA RN license, BSN or equivalent, at least 3 years of directly related experience, including two in Community Health.

COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE (Per Diem ## )
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to the promotion of health maintenance of individuals, families and the community through assessment, teaching, counseling and appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing measures, working with Agency policies and under the ANA Code of Ethics.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned/required.
Requirements: Graduate of NLN nursing program approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (BSN preferred), current Massachusetts RN license plus one year’s experience in community health nursing and/or one year’s recent acute care medical/surgical nursing experience, or current LPN license with at least 2 years home care or acute medical/surgical experience. IV certification and bilingual skills a plus. Must have current Massachusetts’s driver’s license and a reliable automobile. Must possess gross motor skills in order to get in/out of vehicle, climb stairs, carry community health nursing bag, etc. Fine Motor skills to accomplish skilled nursing care and required documentation.

TITLE: Community Health Analyst
HOURS: Full-time (35 hours/week)
PROGRAM: Division of Prevention and Community Services

DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Community Health Analyst will design and conduct needs assessments, plan and implement program evaluations, analyze data and develop reports to explain evaluation and research findings. The Community Health Analyst will work closely with community partners in developing research plans and presenting findings. Other responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and implement needs assessment and evaluation plans;
- Research and analyze youth health surveys for communities;
- Provide data support, including data analysis, interpretation and reports;
- Present needs assessment, evaluation and research results at meetings with community partners;
- Develop assessment tools, including surveys and resource mapping;
- Technical support with substance abuse research, including the social norms approach; and
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS required. Masters preferred in public health, social/human services, education or related field. Skill and experience in assessment, data analysis, evaluation and research required. Content knowledge in youth development, substance abuse and violence prevention preferred. Ability to work as part of a team needed.

TITLE: Receptionist

DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Coordinator, the Receptionist is responsible for the following:
- Answer telephone calls and refer to appropriate staff person;
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and faxes;
- Type manuscripts, correspondence, etc. as assigned;
- Assist in maintaining orderly and updated files and records;
- Provide administrative support to program staff;
- Copy and collate documents as assigned;
- Assist in the coordination of conferences, meetings and other events, which includes ordering food, shopping, room setup and breakdown;
- Monitor the office supply inventory at all times; and
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/ GED and business experience a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Access. Able to lift up to 20 pounds of program equipment and materials. Candidate must have access to a dependable and reliable vehicle.
