Town of Rockland
Incorporated in 1874, the town of Rockland is situated on 10.10 square miles only 30 minutes from Boston. Founded as an adricultural community, the town later flourished as a major shoe manufacturer.
Since the 19th century, the town has been an industrial community. However areas of the town remain wooded to give residents a rural feeling.
